QA Manager

Full Time, Los Angeles, CA (El Segundo)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering Manager to join Incentify. In this role you will play an integral part of our software development process. We are looking for someone with the expertise and drive to lead us into the next phase of our QA efforts.

As the QA Manager, you will build and work alongside a team of QA engineers to expand and improve automated testing environment, oversee test planning and strategy of a small QA team, help establish the team's Agile test methodologies and processes, and develop and execute automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

  • Build an internal QA team to establish best practices and efficient processes

  • Perform a variety of manual tests including UI tests, regression tests, and sanity tests

  • Implement and enhance QA methodologies to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases

  • Explore and help to implement automated testing strategies

  • Ensure that all identified issues are well documented and assigned to the proper resources

  • Previous experience working in a QA team environment, writing test cases, and performing tests

  • Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g. Clubhouse, JIRA)

  • Gather, analyze and report team and quality metrics which demonstrate business value and show continuous improvement

Experience

  • 5+ years of QA Management experience

  • Expert knowledge of quality assurance processes throughout the entire Delivery Lifecycle

  • Experience with automation QA tests, processes, and reports

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects

  • Advanced knowledge in both functional/black-box testing and white/grey-box testing

  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment
